Join us for Alcove's first outdoor festival, Alcove Fest, in partnership with BLOX Arts Centre! Alcove Fest will take place in the East parking lot beside Alcove Beltline and BLOX Arts Centre (838 11 Ave SW). Check out local artists, The Petty Larceneers, Hip Hip Thursday, and rap performances by Eazy G, Little Chief, Redfoot, and Ricca Razor Sharp. Afterwards, join in on a public dance session with It's a Feeling. There will be local vendors, food trucks, and some outdoor lawn games and a pop-up graffiti wall for you to join led by Como se Dice. Bring your friends, bring your family, bring your pets, everyone is welcome! - For All Ages - Admission is free! This program is made possible by Calgary Culture Days, the City of Calgary, BLOX BIA, Downtown Core Neighbourhood Association, and cSPACE! * Please note Alcove Beltline is not wheelchair accessible, and has a few steps to enter. BLOX Arts Centre has accessible washrooms.
