This summer, Vancouver’s longest-running improv show is kicking off with a sporty twist! For over 40 years, The Improv Centre has delivered head-to-head Theatresports matches. The players? Two teams of three world-class improvisers. The pitch? A fast-paced slate of high-intensity games. The final score? Decided by you! The crowd's biggest laughs and highest scores decide the winner of the match! In Theatresports: Totally Ref’d Up, we’re putting the “sport” back into Theatresports! Hosted by a TIC-appointed referee calling every play, expect a 90-minute, high-octane match-up – filled with red cards, record-breaking scores, and championship-level laughs! Will it be a shutout or a buzzer-beater finish? There’s only one way to find out. Get your game on with this limited-time version of Vancouver’s live comedy institution! Run time: 90 minutes including intermission Rated: 🌶️🌶️ – Content is cheeky, playful, some innuendo is possible. Think “Shrek” level content. Best for audiences age 8 and up.
